Wow!

I love scarves that move -- not in the sense of the wind blowing them but in the sense that they work on three dimensions and have that wonderful life-force showing through.

This new one by Maureen Mason-Jamieson just tickles me -- it seems to be so alive. I can't wait to start one.

I am going to quote Maureen here:

"This scarf is knit using short rows to create a square coil. Simply keep turning the corner and see what happens! Each garter stitch corner has a knitted-in fringe loop accent and a row of eyelets to define the short row turns. Your completed scarf drapes in a unique ruffle around your neck."

Level: Intermediate.

Size: Approximately 40" length x 3-1/2" width.

Scarf forms a ruffled boa shape.

Knit it up using 350-450 yds. of fingering weight yarn and 3.25 (US 3) needles.

Take a look at what we have on our Fingering Weight web pages -- just choose what sings to you.

This is absolutely delicious -- what fun!
