Well, I have been having a wonderful time with these!
We started with a medley of beads, which one must pre-string randomly across a polyester metallic thread. Then one knits per the directions, to make a most interesting bracelet -- no two ever the same.
That is our original "random" kit.
As a note: It is not an overall green look (as it sometimes looks in the photo to the right here). The bracelet shown here was knit with a green thread which imparts that overall greenishness -- the beads are truly random.
What we are offering, basically, is a mixture, in a 35 gram container of a mix of beads, in many shapes and sizes. If you choose the "random" color choice, we can't predict what you'll get but it should be interesting. Sometimes it is a left-over from someone's customized request; sometimes it will be a completely random mix of colors and shapes.
Each of these kits include the 100% polyester metallic thread and plenty of the Bead Soup mix. Plus a silver clasp or a gold clasp choice [select from drop-down menu below] (Note: some of our clasps are sterling silver, some are simply a silver tone that look great but are made with a baser metal like lead-free pewtwr; likewise with the gold clasps -- some are gold filled, some are gold plated sterling, and some are simply gold toned -- we select what looks best with your kit). We will choose your thread color for you unless you specify.

We have been having a wonderful time playing with colors. I've been making finished bracelets for sale at a local boutique -- in fact, anyone interested in purchasing one should email me -- and have been putting together great combinations in theme colorways. If you click on the photo to the right, you will see a few we've done. We have tried out greens with a green thread, greens with a gold thread, berry colors with fuchsia thread, topaz and gold and metallics with a copper thread, etc. The possibilities are virtually endless.
We have so many ideas for other combinations and permutations --it is tremendous fun to play with colors. And if you have a particular idea for a predominant colorway or theme you'd like to try, email us and we will see if we can do it with you. We've had requests for "blues" and for "olives and fuchsias" and for "purples and blues" .... and so on and so on.
Make sure to let us know your preferences in the Comments section on the order form if you choose a specialized kit, customized just for you.
And, btw, figure on size 0 needles though gauge is not an important factor here. (The needles are not included in the kit.)
