I have been working on trying to put together a beaded choker using our Bead Soup combinations of beads and I think I finally succeeded.
Here we put together a combination of greens and crystals, including some delicate Crystal AB leaves, and Green AB daggers and mixed them all in a swirl of beads, with a green metallic thread to make a choker length.
We got a stretchy 12" out of one spool of thread. If you prefer your chokers to be not quite so...well, choking, check with us about the availability of a second spool of thread. If we have your color, we will be glad to arrange to add it to your order.
The current clasp that we have for this is a tube-and-bar type clasp that will help hold the rectangular shape while one end simply slides into the other end. If you would like to see a photo of this, take a look in our "Wonderful Extras" section and look at the Sterling Silver Tube and Bar Clasp. The one for this kit is not magnetic but otherwise looks very similar. It comes in a silver color and a gold color, both base metal -- and rather nice looking.
As far as the beads and threads for this necklace, we are offering other colors besides the set you see on my friend's neck in the photo here, which we are calling Greens.
The Purples will have basically the colors of the Purple Bead Soup bracelet. If you have a preference on thread color, let us know. Otherwise we will pick randomly either purple or silver.
The Crystals Plus is made with the same type of mix as in its Bead Soup Bracelet "sister" and silver thread as well (or feel free to tell us another color thread you'd prefer).
The Blues will come with blue or silver thread, our choice unless you tell us
If there is another color combination you'd like to try then select the "Customized" version and make sure to let us know your wishes. Use the "Comments" section on the order form when you check out. We'll do our best to put together what appeals....
The kit will contain the pattern, the beads, the clasp (as described above), and thread (either silk or the polyester metallic).
Notice that you have a choice of getting this kit with or without the pattern. Make sure to check the drop-down menu.
