From Jackie E-S comes a most unusual knitted project; the Beaded Stress Ball!
Jackie puts it like this: "Squish and roll this beaded ball around in your hands to provide relaxation and quick relief to stress, aching or stiff finger joints. Tiny pressure points of beads have a meditative quality.
"These balls make a quick, low-cost and much-appreciated gift. Make them bright and colorful for a cheerful uplift, or in subtle colors to fit your most reflective mood. "
All that is needed is fingering weight yarn (about 25 yards/ 23m), about 20 grams of 8/0 beads (792 more precisely) and knitting needles (Jackie used size US 1 (2.25 mm) for gauge of 7 stitches per inch over beaded garter stitch)
And she continues with a P.S.: Remember that "stressed" spelled backwards is "desserts".
Fun indeed!
