Bearfoot is made up of 60 % Superwash Wool, 25 % Mohair, 15 % Nylon -- each 100 gram skein has a delicious 400 yards.
This yarn is perfect for socks -- of course -- and it is marvelous for any other next-to-skin wear. The mohair is not fuzzy but adds a wonderful luster and a delightful feel. And I was once told by Lucy Neatby that mohair is nature's nylon -- in other words it adds strength to the piece as well as beauty.
This colorway is Thunderstorm, a cool mix of soft gray with a touch of green, purple, and blue.
