Galvanized beads have a finish which generally speaking make them look like the true metal.
Up to now, we've avoided galvanized beads as the finish tended to flake off if abraded or washed. However, Miyuki has recently come out with a finish they call duracoat. And what this basically means is that this galvanization will stay looking lovely.
The photo shows size 8/0 beads in the lovely Duracoat Galvanized Sea Green, a wonderfully rich green that look marvelous with any yarns with a green based colorway.
I was just looking at these with Miss Babs' Yet in Flourite. Yum!
We offer here a smaller 20 gram container (figure about 40 beads per gram in this size; so this container has roughly 800 beads) for your knitting pleasure!
