Another marvelous beaded knitting pattern from Sivia!
These are absolutely lovely!
Here is how Sivia describes these:
"Twisted stitches, lace, cables, and beads -- all the stops have been pulled for this sock, which is worked from the toe up. The interesting bits start right away at the tip of the toe."
Figure on needing about 400 yards of light fingering weight sock yarn (the original used a skein of Creatively Dyed Yarns Sock, 510 yards per 150 grams).
For beads, you want size 8/0s, approximately 120. And these are added using the crochet hook method, so make sure you have one of the super-thin ones, at least 0.6mm to add the beads with.
The pattern is largely charted.
As our special bead offer to you, anyone purchasing enough fingering/sock yarn to make this pair, will get from us the beads needed as a special gift from us.
These are beauties -- they will be quite the pair!
