I just love embellishments -- well, you might have figured that one out by now.
I love the idea of adding beads to items, of course, and I also like adding flowers and assorted extras to add dimension and make a piece truly mine and unlike anyone else's.
This book is, in my opinion, the best of a number of great books on knit and crochet applique-type pieces to make. It has not only knit and crochet both, it organizes the flowers from basic to intermediate to advanced.
And!
It is not just flowers.
There are butterflies and leaves and ladybugs and even some vegetables. Some of these pieces are more 3-D than others but all are fun and the instructions are superb.
And all the photos are shown to scale.
Plus the author includes inspirational idea for how to use these to customize whatever suits your fancy.
