Oh yes.

An absolutely stunning shawl, created by Lily Go! Here is how Lily describes Flutter of the Wings:

Flutter of the Wings is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the bottom up without short-row. The pattern is worked both wrong and right side but it is easy enough to memorize and knit. Because of the shape, this shawl is very easy to wear and stays put on the shoulder. You can use lace-weight yarn for lacy shawl or you can use thicker yarn (Fingering/DK) for more textured effect.

Pattern includes charts and row-by-row written directions. If you would like to add beads to your shawl, instructions are included as to where to place the beads.

This pattern is written so that it can use any lace, fingering, or DK weight yarn. Which opens it up to so many options!

*****

Some rough ideas of yardage needed -- the pattern gives you all the information you will need.  Here is what was used to make the models you see photographed here:

Lace weight: requires about 50g, 400 yards.

DK weight: needs about 100g, 800 yards.

The pattern suggests size 8 seed beads for lace weight yarn or size 6 seed beads for fingering/DK weight yarn (optional). A table is included so you can figure out the number of beads required -- if you need more data now, just contact me

This web page is set up to send you the pattern via a PDF.

We also print it out and send it to you in a hard copy form, in a sheet protector.  The additonal cost you see on the drop-down menu reflects that plus shipping.

Just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.

This will be a delicate beauty; truly awesome.
