We are thrilled and delighted to be able to offer the full kit for Sivia's marvelous Heart to Heart Beaded Scarf, complete with silver lined megatamas and a cashmere/silk lace weight yarn, in your choice of two colors, a soft pink and a delightful sky blue!
And yes, you read that right -- we were able to find a wonderful and high-quality cashmere/ silk blend (45% cashmere/ 55% silk) that is perfect for this design -- at a phenomenal price! And so we pass this wonder on to you.
This yarn has an incomparable silky soft texture in a 2-ply, with that wonderful faint sheen that silk gives, each two ounce skein with 400 yards, exactly the yardage of the original cashmere that Sivia used. The nicest thing about this is that the cashmere is very warm, yet very light and soft and the silk adds a sheen and a strength. (And frankly, the blend is also less expensive than 100% cashmere -- I love it in this design.)

Sivia writes, " This stunning crescent shaped scarf, fetchingly strung with beaded hearts, is as sweet as pie!
"The scarf consists of the heart border, an easy garter stitch body, and a tubular edging, and is worked sideways from one narrow point to the other."
And we have gotten in two beautifully soft colors as I mentioned above -- you can choose between a delicious baby pink or a delicate sky blue -- you can see the colors in the lower part of the photo to the upper right and again below.
In each kit will be be pattern, one skein of the yarn (400 yards) and a container with at least the needed 174 of the 4mm silver lined megatamas, which are exactly the beads that Svia used in her original.
The beads are placed with the crochet hook method throughout, so don't forget this marvelous tool if you need it (it is not included in the kit)-- we generally carry a good selection on our "hooks & needles" web page of these ultra-thin crochet hooks. You want one about 0.6mm (email me if you have any trouble finding them).
The original used size 3 US (3.25mm needles)(also not included in the kit) -- just so you have a good starting point. Everything else that you will need is included.

P.S.We received an interesting suggestion from a knitter who did this design twice. She wrote: "(For) the Heart to Heart Beaded Scarf Pattern by Sivia, you definitely have to have a scale to weigh the yarn on. I knitted one in the sky blue & I had knitted it according to directions, working 29-repeats of the heart lace border & I had enough yarn left over to knit at least 2-more repeats. And since everyone knits differently, you absolutely have to weigh the yarn mid-way....If you don't want to have to waste any of the cashmere, & I don't know who does, it has to be weighed!" So we pass this on as a great tip.
