We love to look and find some amazing colorways -- though they don't always last and only rarely can be repeated. And yet the next set comes that is simply amazing. I know that many of you were disappointed when our Dancing Icicles went out of stock (shown in fourth photo here). And alas, it doesn't look like we will be able to offer that one again for at least a short while.
But happily we are constantly getting in new daggers that would look amazing.
The bracelet form that we show on this page can be made and look amazing with a huge selection of colors and finishes. We call it Flying Feathers and it is a wonderful kind of bracelet to knit -- and one that I enjoyed making very much! The main feature of this jewelry piece is the daggers and the look changes when the daggers change while still being oh-so-lovely-indeed.
It was originally created with larger dagger beads, the 5x16mm (the ones you see in the bracelet itself are out of stock) and threaded them onto a metallic thread in a pattern with size 8/0 seed beads.
The piece is created by the beads in a particular sequence so that the daggers and beads lie together beautifully, the staggering allowing for a smooth finish that simply looks lovely.
I really like this one. It feels fantastic to wear.
Instead of mourning the loss of daggers that we can no longer get, I set about finding other dagger beads that really appealed to me --- this bracelet is wonderful in that it is all based around the large dagger beads.
As the daggers in the bracelet photos here are no longer possible, all that is needed is to use your imagination and visualize it in this Fuchsia-Lemon dagger. A most common name for quite an amazing look.
These are transparent beads, with a dual coating so that both sides really reflect the light. They are basically a wonderful sunset color, with subtle variations between flame and amber.
Really striking! This will simply glow on your wrist!
As with all these style of bracelet kits, the 8/0s will be a colorway to match, as will the thread.
Each kit contains the pattern, the thread, the beads and the clasp.
Needles are not included -- we suggest size 0s.
This is quite unique indeed.
P.S. Quantities are very limited on this one. We will be including enough daggers so that the bracelet can be made as large as 8" plus the clasp which is quite a few daggers indeed. But we will continue our hunt for beautiful beads and I think you'll be pleased with our next "catch" as well.
