Welcome

We have been trying to be patient --- handpainted yarns take time -- but today we are thrilled to announce that we finally got in some of the yarns from Schaefer that we've been waiting for.

Some of the yarns for this amazingly lovely Undulating Wave Scarf by Laura Nelkin. We have a few of the silk/wool blend called Heather (more colorways of these are coming soon) and some are the 100% cotton Susan, including the original colorway, Empress Wu Zhao.

There are so many wonderful colorways to choose from -- it is tough to choose but we like what we have very much and think you will too.

Oh! And I don't want to forget to tell you -- we also re-stocked the Blueberry colorway of Anne for Laura's stunning Entomology Scarf -- and the Ashes of Roses (the rose color) will be coming soon.

Don't be so surprised to find these on a website of fibers and beads and patterns. I am not suggesting that we knit with candles. :-)

But somehow, along with cats and warm cups of tea, these just fit my picture of relaxed knitters and crocheters, creating beauties with their fiber.

These are rather unique and very lovely. And they smell simply wonderful. We think you'll find these Botanical candles perfect to add an extra special something to your space.

We love the concept of offering packs of yarn, of varying types and textures and colors and weights that all somehow work beautifully together.
We just found some new mixes from a company called Dyelots,which they call a Stimulus Package. And we got in a number of very intriguing colorways. So take a look and have a marvelous time creating!

Stunning little kits, from Laura Nelkin, the beaded knitting designer extraordinaire, who has brought us such gems as the Undulating Scarf.
These Beaded Lace Cuffs are really special -- we currently have them in four different colors and we are in delighted to be able to offer them.

We have a variation on our Dragon Wisdom necklace -- with a smaller focal piece carved in a Maori-style in the same lovely delicate jade. We call it the Ivy Necklace , as the overall look is of growth -- reminds me of leaves and vines. Very welcome indeed in the midst of winter.
