We've been gradually putting up some lovely designs as created by Kristi (of Kreations by Kristi), both in kit form and as patterns (with great bead options to allow you to create your own kit, if you so choose).

So far we have four designs on the website, and more coming. If you would like, just put "Kristi" in the Search engine and you will see them all. Some are in kit form, some are pattern only (though offering great bead gifts as well so you can create-your-own-kit).

You can find Take Flight, in pattern and in kit forms, and Leaves Washed Ashore, as a pattern. We also just put up Kara's Shawl and Spring Is In The Air. Gorgeous!

Now, Kristi's patterns are beautiful but they are a bit more complex than some knitters are used to. So our marvelous Cindersall who runs our Ravelry forum just started a a new support thread as an informal Knit Along (KAL) for these beauties.

She writes: "These are true lace designs, with patterning on both wrong and right side rows, but still well within the range of an intermediate knitter. We are starting an informal KAL for those of you who would like some helpful hints, some hand holding, and lots of applause as you progress. It will be a great way to learn a new skill, (if you’ve never done right and wrong side patterning), or just a fun place to chat about the projects.

So come join in the fun on our Ravelry group. It is very satisfying to have other knitters to talk to and to ask questions of. After all, we do understand each other, don't we?

And keep watching the What's New section for more and more of these designs and kits -- they are very rewarding, perfect for warm weather knitting and for throwing over one's shoulders for that special touch of elegance.

"Quite Continental" is a wonderful new design by Bev of Boo Knits.

We worked with Bev quite extensively to bring this lovely pattern into being, and just put up the pattern and a few kits.

We are so very pleased!

This shawl is simply stunning -- and let me also quote Cindersall, on our Ravelry Forum, "The thing I love about it is that it’s comfortable to wear, and drapes beautifully. Just tie it in the front and voila…instant glamour. Perfect with a white blouse and black slacks."

Our Ravelry forum is also set up with a special support thread for this design. So if you run into any snags (figuratively speaking) you will have lots of help unraveling it.

We found an absolutely stunning design, by Melissa Lemmon and fell in love.

With her permission, we are working on offering her Nouveau Beaded Capelet as a Knit Along project. This KAL is going to be run via our Ravelry forum with the help of Cindersall, our moderator and lace-knitter-extraordinaire, and Melissa herself.

We have also set up some wonderful kits for the Nouveau Beaded Capelet, complete with pattern, yarn and all the necessary beads.

This is the perfect time of year for some drop-dead gorgeous yarns, full of bling, light, and glory! We are delighted to be able to add some much needed color to our winter with Art Yarn's Every Which Way Shawl kits.

Well, we are feeling a bit like Old Mother Hubbard. After our December Clearance Sale, the cupboards are a bit bare. We have more wonderful yarn on its way, but always time and space interferes and makes it all take longer than we'd really like.

In the meantime we do have some wonderful new patterns that we found very intriguing and a couple of new kits as well. And we are gradually filling up those shelves again.
