What a treat!
A great little book (or booklet, might be more accurate) called Leaves, this is the first book by Michelle Miller (aka Fickle Knitter) and has eight great designs that each use 395 yards of yarn or less!
Michelle is known for creating beautiful patterns that use only one skein of luxury yarn and continues with that theme in Leaves, Fickle Knitter Design Volume 1.
There is something for every knitter in this collection. The book contains directions for four small accessories for the beginning knitter and four shawls for the intermediate knitter. All patterns have thoroughly tested written instructions and charts where applicable. Each pattern has been tech edited and test knit for accuracy and clarity
Some of the designs use Aran weight, some use fingering weight, (a few use our favorite Zen Yarn Garden Serenity Silk even!) and the range in between. We show some photos below of the designs.
A marvelous resource! Great to use when you are looking to find something wonderful to go with that special skein.
