Here is another version of our New Fangled Necklace design -- a most intriguing variation. We had offered this a few years ago and then were unable to find more of the supplies needed -- we are delighted to be offering it again though in limited quantities.
The one we show here is a play on colors plus a delightful use of magnetic beads.
It is virtually the same design as the New Fangled Necklace with one major change and one minor one. Every few inches there is a magnetic hematite bead. And we have kept the ends open so that instead of a necklace the end result is a lovely lariat which can be worn and twisted around itself – the magnetic beads allowing for the piece to stay as you place it. You can even wind it around your wrist and have it stay in place because of the wonders of magnetism.
You can choose any one basic coloration of beads in an intriguing Bead Stew mix to make your lariat of. The drop-down menu gives you options -- and if we left out one you'd like, just tell us via the "Comments" section as you check out. If we need to we'll contact you but honestly we have so many beads in stock that right now we can do just about anything. Just make sure it is set as you would like before you check out.
You will have everything you need except for the knitting needles -- we used size 0/ 2mm.
Each kit will include at least 20 meters of thread, either silk or metallic polyester, roughly 45 grams of a bead mix and about 13 special magnetic hematite beads. And the pattern.

One thing we want to make you aware of -- take this as a warning: People with a pacemaker should not wear magnetic jewelry! And pregnant women should consult a physician before wearing magnetic items.
