A lovely solid color (or almost-solid) from Schaefer yarn -- Bluebell has been on the website as a yarn for Entomology, the stunning scarf by Laura Nelkin that was showcased in Knitty.com last summer.
Here we are offering it by itself, just the skein of Anne, for those who have other plans for it. :-)
Anne is Schaefer's 60% Merino Wool Superwash, 25% Mohair and 15% Nylon. Each skein has approximately 560 yards to its 4 ounces and knits up at between 7 and 8 stitches per inch.
It is a wonderful light fingering weight that can work for a hug range of beautiful projects from socks to scarves to shawls. And as it is so light in weight, it can even be used in many patterns that call for lace weight yarns -- the gauge and size will be different but the look will be stunning.
