Another of Shibui's Sock Yarn colors that we fell for in a big way.
With a tight twist very reminiscent of Louet Gems Merino and of Koigu fingering weight, this 100% superwash merino has such a delightful elasticity and bounce! It is a true treasure -- a pleasure to feel and to knit with.
Each skein has a generous 191 yards (175m). And the Shibui folks dye it in absolutely wonderful colors! Rich and deep -- the semi-solids are my favorites and truly lovely.
Storm is a blend of "moody steel blue" to quote the Shibui folks. It truly gives you the feeling of water roiling about the rocks as it goes rushing down stream in the depths of a storm.
These yarns are bouncy in a wonderful way and perfect for making happy feet. And they are perfect for any next-to-skin wear -- scarves and shawls and hats and even baby items.
