From Shelridge Farms in Ontario, Canada, comes this lovely fingering weight yarn. Soft-Touch Ultra is a 100% superwash merino wool, a 3-ply fingering weight which works up at approximately 28 stitches to 4" on 3 mm (US 3) needles. Each skein is about 185 yds/50 grams.
It feels so soft and delicious! And the colors are so clean and lovely. I am really delighted.
This is one of the colorways dyed exclusively for us! This is a colorway that we actually only got once before -- I don't know why, it is wonderful.
We call it Primavera and it is basically a play on greens. Some are light, some are dark, some are close to teal, some are in the evergreen family, some are the deep darkness of winter greens with a bit of brown mixed in. The combination is so pleasing --- big smiles over here.
