Oh my. Oh yes.

Take a look at Lucy Neatby's Spindrift Necklet & Wristlets design.

Created to work with only 100 grams of fingering weight yarn for each piece, this is a really fun knit.

A truly stylish, yet cozy neck and shoulder or wrist warmer. It is knit flat until the abric is long enough to fit around the neck or the wrist. The pattern allows you decide if you would like it to be made seamlessly, seamed, or left open and fastened with buttons.

The knitting techniques involved include garter stitch with scallop holes (which do not involve casting on or binding off), and the making of picots. Grafting using waste yarn is optional if going for a seamless finish (full details given). Lucy explains everything in great detail so fear not if some aspect is new to you.

You will need 300 to 350 meters (about 330 to 380 yards) of a fingering weight yarn, for making the necklet and the same amount for making the wristlets.

And what really stuck me --- wouldn't this look marvelous in one of our fingering weight Gradiance sets? Wow.
