This is a wonderful geometric lace scarf by Leila Raabe that was designed for the Loft Collection of Brooklyn Tweed.

Approximately 725 yards of fingering weight wool yarn is all that is needed.

You will be aiming for a gauge of 22 stitches & 30 rows = 4” over Wexford Lace Pattern (Chart B); relaxed after lace-blocking (though of course, for a scarf gauge is not super important).

The finished dimensions are 13½” wide, 78” long; measurements taken from relaxed fabric after lace-blocking.

The scarf is worked in one piece from start (cast-on edge) to finish (bind-off edge). Note that the lace motifs are charted only. The designer rates the skill level needed as 2 out of 5 -- so an advanced beginner would be alright with it.

Take a look at some of our wonderful fingering weight yarns and choose enough to make this lovely piece. We think you'll be very pleased.

Note that this is a hard copy of the pattern, printed on heavy card stock and will be mailed to you.
