This yarn just really intrigued me and I had to bring it in -- these are just plain fun!

Abracadabra by HiKoo is a yarn that changes color when exposed to the sun!

Made up of 35% Superwash Merino, 50% Polypropylene, 15% Nylon with 100 yards per 50 gram hank, this is essentially a sport/ DK weight yarn that on US 4-6 needles (3.5-4.0 mm needles) will give you roughly 5.5-6 sts per inch.

All it takes is UV light.  Sunlight is the most obvious and easiest, of course.

We brought in three of the four color possibilities.

#720 changes to pink (a rose)

#721 changes to purple (a soft ilac-ish)

#722 changes to blue (sky blue)

 #723 changes to yellow.

So these all look like white in regular indoor lighting.  Take them outside and....wow! They start almost right away to gradually change.
