This cowl is gorgeous!
By Jennifer of Lavish Craft, this is her Arbor Long Cowl.
Please note you should get the pattern directly from her through her Ravelry Page here.
This web page is simply for the exact yarn in the exact colorway she used for her original piece.
Jennifer writes that this is a long worsted cowl. Throughout the Japanese wrapped stitching creates a lovely lattice effect. This cowl is worked in the round.
Bear in mind though that this is a charted pattern. She rates it as of Intermediate skill level.
The Yarn and Colorway
The yarn that she used is Malabrigo's Rios, 210 yards/ 100g skein of 100% merino. The colorway she used is called Cumparsita, a rich tonal almost-solid that plays on tones of wine and purple.
Bear in mind that as a hand-painted yarn, each batch looks somewhat different. Our skeins have more wine to them and less purple than Jennifer's original ones. We took photos of our yarn so you could see it and compare.
This kit is essentially simply one skein of Rio in Cumparsita.
If you look at the Project Pages, you will see that the majority of finished pieces knit with Rios used a bit less than one skein. There are a few that used more. If you would like extra yarn, simply order two skeins from this web page.
