My first bead stew bracelet and I am HOOKED!! Love it. I have gotten so many complements on it. My only problem is having to hide it when I am not wearing it because my daughter will steal it.

We are delighted to here present the Beach Comber bracelet, made with real shells and with the true look of summer.

Can't you just smell the salt water? And feel the sea breeze?

We found a variety of shells for this one, called Mongo, in a green-ish color, both small and large (between 4mm and 6mm in size). With these we added Black Lip Shell Heishi, in the small 3mm size and some great Sea Urchin Spines for highlights.

We mixed 'regular' beads in beach-glass type colors -- both clear and matte sand, slate blue and sage green, in 4mm fire polish crystals and in the neat little "Farfalle" butterfly shapes. To that we added a great mix of 6/0s, 8/0s, and triangles.

Every mix is a bit different -- some added, some left out, all unique. Stock in beads go in and out and sometimes we get new ones that are just perfect for this mix and throw them in; and sometimes previous ones go out of stock and cannot be repeated. What we can promise is a mix that will look great and be reminiscent of the beach for sure.

The beads will be strung on Kreinik Tapestry Braid #12 in gold thread. And finished it all off with gold-plated clasp. We no longer have the one you see here, but we have some other lovelies and one will be included in your kit.

The combination is that of a wonderful walk on the beach, strolling along the shoreline watching the colors and the glints of sun off the shells.

The kit comes with everything you will need except the knitting needles -- I used size 0 US (2mm).

The pattern is the same as for all of the Bead Soup and Bead Stew Bracelets -- you have the option to get it or not via the drop-down menu.

Note that the kit will not automatically include the pattern. We offer three options. I know some of you might already have made other bracelets from us that are made along the same lines, the only real changes being the beads and the colors. If you feel you do not need another pattern, simply choose "No Pattern Needed."

If you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that.

We also can email the pattern to you, though I have to do it manually and usually send it right before I mail the kit (please be patient). Just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.

A lovely piece to remind you of the seashore all year long.
