Here is our latest offering in the Bead Stew bracelet series, easy knits which are amazingly satisfying and yield lovely results.
And what are Bead Stew bracelets, you may ask? We have taken many different sizes and shapes and finishes of the larger beads in a particular theme or colorway, mixed them together, added the Tapestry Braid thread and a special clasp and, together with the pattern, put it all together for you to knit and wear as a "bouquet" on your wrist.
Size 0 needles are suggested, though not included in the kit.
Here for the first time we are offering a choice -- your choice -- of color mixes.
We are starting by taking beads with a crystal or silver theme -- drops and daggers and megatamas and triangles and round beads (none smaller than 8/0s) and the like -- enough to create a dense and superbly interesting "fabric" of beads on your thread -- and added a single colorway in addition, with its own drops and daggers and beads and also, in most cases, leaves.
In the photos you will see two versions. One is with blues (kind of like Sea Foam, yes?) and one with greens, which reminds me of the first sprouts of Spring pushing up through the snow cover.
This is to give you an idea of possibilities.
Every kit contains the beads, the thread, and the clasp. You must choose from the drop-down menus below if you need the pattern. The pattern is the same as for all of the Bead Soup and Bead Stew Bracelets -- you have the option to get it or not via the drop-down menu.
Note that the kit will not automatically include the pattern. We offer three options. I know some of you might already have made other bracelets from us that are made along the same lines, the only real changes being the beads and the colors. If you feel you do not need another pattern, simply choose "No Pattern Needed."
If you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that.
We also can email the pattern to you, though I have to do it manually and usually send it right before I mail the kit (please be patient). Just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.
You should also choose what color beads you want to add to the crystals and silvers and don't forget to choose your thread color as well -- either silver (as shown in these photos), gold, or "color" by which we mean that we will match the color of the thread to your color selection for the beads.
For the clasp, we will use one of our silver toggles (as seen in the photos) or golden toggles if your thread choice is gold. Or if you tell us that you'd rather something else, perhaps a lobster clasp or spring clasp -- just use the Comments section as you check out -- no problem. These are made individually to suit your taste.
Gorgeous and really fun to make.
