Our Birthstone Bracelet Series completed a full year -- started February 2017 and ended January 2018.

It was so much fun, we decided to expand it.

Some months have more than one birthstone, and there are other birthstones based on other cultures and ideas.  Plus unfortunately, some that we had created in the last year sold out and couldn't be replaced.

So here we start our Birthstone Series 2.  It might not cover every month but we will try our best to offer you something new and unique and related to the time of year it showcases.

Here is our new February & Amethysts bracelet.

Amethyst is said to strengthen relationships and give its wearer courage.   :-)

A large portion of the beads in this piece are true amethyst, of varying sizes and shapes.  Then we also added some howlite chips as well as fire polish crystals of different sizes and colors. The most striking pieces are pearlized "corn flakes" which stand out in a wonderful way and add a great texture to the piece, adding an intriguing dimension.

They were all randomly threaded onto a very supple wire and finished off with a magnetic sliding tube clasp.

The wire is a lighter 0.014" weight which is much stretchier and softer to the touch than earlier wires we used, while still being the very strong 49 strand Flexrite.  And it even can be knotted, which makes for easier finishing.

Note that the kit will not automatically include the pattern. We offer three options:

I know some of you might already have made other bracelets of ours that are made along the same lines -- any of the Crystals and Wire bracelets we have carried in the past have used the same basic design pattern, the only real changes being the beads and the colors. If you feel you do not need another pattern, simply choose "No Pattern Needed."

If you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that.

We also can email the pattern to you, though I have to do it manually and usually send it right before I mail the kit (please be patient). Just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.
