A great design from Sivia HardingBright Sunny Day began as a Mystery KAL.  Well, the mystery is long over and here we have put together some lovely kits for this beautiful (and beaded) piece.

Sivia calls this "...a light, summery accessory with a fascinating twist!"

All that is needed is two yarns with a good amount of contrast.  She used a variegated and a tonal almost-solid for her original piece -- fingering weight with at least 400 yards per skein.

We do not offer the same yarn nor the same colors that Sivia used in her original piece.  You can see the yarns in our kits by looking at the inset photos in the top picture and again below that.

You will get one skein each as described here for the kit of your choice plus the beads (also described below).

For the variegated yarn we have, from Malabrigo, Sock of 100% superwash merino and with 440 yards (402m) per 100g skein.  The colorway is Ursula, an exciting variegated mix of purples of all sorts of tones and hues plus light specklings of goldenrod and blues.

The almost-solid for this set is KFI's Indulgence Kettle Dyed Fingering, 75% wool + 25% nylon and with 494 yards (450m) per 100g skein.  The colorway is Wisteria and it is varying tones of that marvelous blue-ish lilac of the flowers.  Here the differences in the purple allow for a contrast while still blending beautifully.

The design calls for 108 size 6/0 beads.  We will give you more than that.  If you have a preference on what color bead you want, tell me.  Otherwise I will choose for you.

The Pattern

The kit will not automatically include the pattern and the cost of the pattern hasn't been figured into the price.

I know some knitters prefer to get it directly as a PDF file of the pattern from Sivia via her Ravelry web page. In that case, set the Pattern drop-down menu to "No Pattern Needed."

Alternatively, if you would like a printed copy, please make sure the drop-down menu is set to that.

We also can email the pattern to you via email (just be aware that it is not automatic; I have to manually send it to you and generally do that right before shipping your kit).
