This is our newest version of our Crystals-and-Wire bracelet called California Dreaming.
Beads and semi-precious stones go in and out of stock and the original set that we had for this beauty are long gone.
What we have here is another with a similar look and vibe to it --here with aqua and turquoise fire polish crystals, and some true aquamarine pieces and some other special beads.
The main focus of the bracelet are real shells as well as glass beads and cermaic beads shaped like shells.
Now you may be wondering why did we name it California Dreaming.
Well, it is reminiscent of a beach with its shells, plus the beads and crystals to bring in the colors of the surf and the clear sky.
This bracelet uses a flexible wire, golden in color, that is pretty easy to knit with. Your spool will have about 30 feet, well more than you'll need.
The beads were added to the wire in a random fashion and knit in a manner very similar to all of our Bead Stew bracelets.
Finishing it off is gold plated clamps, and a gold magnetic clasp. Perfect. We used the clamps simply because it seemed a safer way to end the bracelet than trusting knots in wire and it gives a very finished look to the whole.
Each kit contains everything you will need to make the bracelet as you see it here (except the needles -- we used size 2) -- a 30 foot spool of the wire in this bronze color, enough of the fire polish and stone mix to make one bracelet, and the pieces for finishing the ends and adding a clasp (as you see in the photo).
The bracelet pattern is the same as we did for the earlier Semi-Precious Stone Bracelets, so if you feel you don't need it, choose that option from the drop-down menu.
Each of these bracelets will be rather rare and unique and supplies are limited.
Note that the kit will not automatically include the pattern. We offer three options:
I know some of you might already have made other bracelets of ours that are made along the same lines -- any of the Crystals and Wire bracelets we have carried in the past have used the same basic design pattern, the only real changes being the beads and the colors. If you feel you do not need another pattern, simply choose "No Pattern Needed."
If you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that.
We also can email the pattern to you, though I have to do it manually and usually send it right before I mail the kit (please be patient). Just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.
