A wonderful gift idea! If you can stand giving it away, that is....  :-)

This is a delicious yarn and one skein is all that is needed to create this most snuggly cowl.

The pattern must be gotten via its Ravelry page here. This web page offers the yarn needed to make this delicious piece.

This is light weight, soft and easy to knit. The merino ribbon yarn and stitch pattern add an interesting texture that shows off the beautiful colors. The wool ribbon yarn is light and as soft as cotton. Perfect for yourself or as a quick to make gift.

Designed by Leslie Taylor

Yarn: 1 skein Mountain Colors Merino Ribbon, 100 gm:  each gives you 225 yards(206 meters).  Composed of 80% merino/ 20% nylon, the yarn is a made into a lovely, very slightly fuzzy, ribbon-type yarn.

All that is needed is one skein and we have a number of lovely colorways for you to choose from.

None of these are the exact one that Leslie used for her original piece (shown here) but they combine other beautiful colors and will make for striking cowls indeed. You can see our colors in the upper lefthand corner of the top photo and again individually below that.

****

Poppy Trail is the bright happy colors of a summer meadow: red-orange, orange, amber and a striking lime green. (Sorry, sold out)

Emerald Lake is a summer lake surrounded by forest:  varying greens and blues in a lovely cool mix.  (Sorry, sold out)

Swift Current is another cool mix of colors, these a bit darker overall, combining blues and navy with some violets and purples.  Rich and deep.

Cornflower is a lighter mix of softer blues and greens: aqua, sage, and mint seem to be the predominant colors.  (Sorry, sold out)

The finished cowl will be roughly 21″ around and 10.5″ tall.

Reminder: the pattern must be gotten via its Ravelry page here.  This web page offers the yarn only.
