A fun and beautiful piece, by Chrissy Prange of Left Side Knits. Here is how she describes it:

Crawley is a two-color cowl knit in the round. It is a great way to experiment with color. Mix it up with bright pairings of contrasting colors, go sedate with two different shades of the same color or even knit it all in one color. You can get many different looks just by playing with the colors.

There are both charts and written instructions, so knitters are able to choose the most comfortable way to follow the pattern.

Yarn:

MC: Approx. 225 yards of worsted weight yarn

CC: Approx. 125 yards of worsted weight yarn

Sample Shown in: The Plucky Knitter Primo Worsted 75 % merino/25% cashmere/5% nylon blend with 200 yards/100 grams

 

MC: used approx. 180 yards/90 grams

CC: used approx. 86 yards/43 grams

Needle 1 US size 6 24-inch circular or whatever gets you gauge

Gauge 23 sts/36 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on US size 6 needles

Exact gauge is not important but do note that a looser gauge will result in the use of more yardage.Finished Size 23” around by 11” tall
