A beautiful design by Becca Anderson, here we present her S-Curve, the Two-Color version.
Be sure to get your pattern directly from Becca on her Ravelry page here. What we offer is a kit to knit this in.
What Becca says about it:
The pattern design represents a stretch of US131 as well as the curvy, winding back roads that make up West Michigan…our home.
This is the two color version of the original S Curve scarf.
You will need 1-100g skein of the solid Herriot Fine and 2-100g skeins of the Huasco Sock Hand Painted. Almost any fingering weight yarn will work, as long as the gauge is correct. If you would like to make the scarf longer, simply add extra rows of the solid stripes in multiples of 2 rows.
Our kit is not a duplicate of what Becca used in her original piece. The Herriot Fine is here again but in a light color (white) instead of a deep teal. And the variegated colorway is a bit different as well. You can see the yarns of our kit in the lower inset photo on the top picture and again below that.
Our kit includes one skein of Herriot Fine in Villa Blanca (75% baby alpaca/ 25% nylon with 461 yards/ 100g), a pure and snowy white.
This takes the place of the solid teal in Becca's original wrap.
Also in the kit are two skeins of Indulgence Hand-Painted Fingering yarn form the KFI Luxury Collection. This is a 75% superwash wool/ 25% nylon with 494 yards/ 100g. The colorway is called Villa Royal and is a rich variegation including stretches of mostly navy and deep blues, alternating with some spring green and cream, all interspered with dots and dashes of yellow and violet and wine.
This will show up as the interspersed honeycomb spaces in the wrap.
(BTW, the last photo on this page shows one of Becca's original multi-colored S Curve pieces, as it shows the design itself so nicely.)
