A lovely design by Hayley Tsang Sather, we have put together some kits for her new Diana

Please be sure to get the pattern directly from Hayley via her Ravelry page.  This kit is yarn plus beads only.

Diana is a crescent-shaped shawl with a broad center. It is Hayley’s first open-lace design and is knit in lace weight or heavy lace weight yarn.

She lists as yardage 500 - 625 yards (457 - 572 m).

We have kitted it using other yarn than what Hayley used in her original.  You can see ours in the inset photo on the top picture and again below that.

Our yarn is from Shibui and is their Lunar, 60% extra fine merino/ 40% mulberry silk.  Need I mention that it feels awesome?  There are 401 yards (365m) per 50g skein.

Two skeins will be in each kit so you will have more than enough.

The colorway is brand-new.  It is called Twilight and is that special blue you see at dusk which has just a touch (a smidgen) of violet to it.

When knitting this shawl, one can use beads in one or all of these charts:

Chart D 9 beads
Chart E 27 beads
Chart F 86 beads
Chart G 114 beads
Chart H 204 beads
Chart I 213 beads
Last row 239 beads
Total 892 beads

As this is a lace weight yarn, we will be including size 8/0 beads, and 25 grams will give you about 1,000 beads, so you can pick and choose without fear of missing out.

If you have a preference on color, let me know.  Otherwise I will choose for you.
