Every now and then I find some beads that simply take my breath away.

These daggers I had found quite a long time ago and thought about periodically.  A few days ago, inspiration hit!

These daggers are ones I had found some time ago and quantities are severely limited with no chance of getting more.  They are intriguing "peacock" daggers, with an almost translucent look to them, each side being somewhat different --- one side being aqua-silvery tones and the other a background of wine --- each with "eyes" of circled colors.  The whole is strikingly lovely.

I took 50 of these special 5x16mm daggers and a bunch of beautiful 8/0 beads, Crystal Silver Rainbow Miyuki Unions, and threaded them in a specific manner onto Tapestry Braid 12 thread in silver.

I played with the basic pattern design I'd developed for our Flying Feathers Bracelet series -- I wanted the daggers as the main players on this piece, dancing and moving as the wrist moves.

As I worked, it reminded me more and more of the dragonflies playing outside, with their amazing colors and beautifully delicate wings.  So I emphasized the look with a dragonfly toggle clasp as you see here.

Every kit will come with the thread, the clasp, plenty of 8/0 beads, and about 50 daggers.  The original bracelet came to about 7" long including the clasp.  You will have enough 8/0 beads so you can expand the size by adding extra rows of 8/0s to the beginning and the end of the piece.

The original used size 0 US/ 2mm knitting needles (not included in kit).

Note that the kit will not automatically include the pattern.

We offer three options. I know some knitters have made so many of our knitted bracelets that they might feel they do not need another pattern. That's fine --- simply choose "No Pattern Needed."

Alternatively, if you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that.

We also can email the pattern to you via email, though I have to do it manually and usually send it right before I mail the kit (please be patient). Just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.
