This beautiful shawl really caught my eye. By LilyGo, Faith, Trust & Pixie Dust is a crescent shaped shawl worked from the bottom up.
The pattern is worked on both the wrong and right sides and includes charts as well. Beads are optional but will be included in this kit. If you do decide to add them to your piece, Lily gives full directions for that as well.
The best way to get this pattern is via Lily's Ravelry page. This puts a copy in your Ravelry library and ensures you get any updates right away. If you plan to get the pattern there, let the drop-down menu be set to "No Pattern Needed".
However, if this doesn't work for you for any reason, you have the option of a printed copy (24 pages) or one emailed by us -- choose via the drop-down menu.
What we have for this kit is yarn and beads for creating this lovely piece.
The Yarn and Colorways
The shawl is knit in fingering weight yarn and offers three sizes, needing 440 (540, 780) yard / 400 (495, 720) meter fingering weight yarn.
Our yarn is not the same as what Lily used in her original. You can see our choices in the inset photo on the top picture and again below it.
Each of our kits will include one skein, which gives enough yardage for the small size with finished dimensions of about 65" wingspan x 13" deep. If you would like a larger shawl, you could get two kits which would give you enough for the very largest size (about 88" x 18").
This yarn is the new one from Mountain Colors called Silkdance, with 75% merino/ 25% silk and a marvelous feel to it. Each skein gives 430 yards so one of each will be included in each kit.
And this is a brand-new colorways!
Tealberry is a speckled beauty with green teals an blue teals on a cream base.
Each kit will include at least the 300 Lily recommends for this smaller size. They will be size 6/0 beads.
If you have a preference in color for the beads, tell me. Otherwise I will choose for you, based on what will look good against your yarn colors.
Reminder: This kit does not automatically include the pattern. You are best off getting the pattern via Lily's Ravelry page though we can work out other options for you if needed. In that case, just contact us.
