I love these pins.
The last time we brought them in, they sold out super-quickly so I thought it might be good to bring in a few more.
Quantities are quite limited so if ones sings to you, go for it. These pins really caught my eye -- they are just so unique and lovely that I had to bring them in to offer.
Each handcrafted pin can be worn as a delightful ornament -- and of course, it would close a shawl beautifully.
High-tech meets fine art in this collection of jewelry and Juaica by the Israeli born artists Nachshon and Stavit. Designing and working in Brooklyn, NY, their work brings together complementary skills from the fields of Industrial Design and Fine Art to create this one of a kind piece.
The pins start with a very light stainless steel frame. Then beads, crystals, and other colorful items are all delicately assembled and set in artist's resin resulting in a beautifully finished and durable piece.
1. The Sheep is a real smile-maker. Its golden swirls and beaded flowers make for one "fluffy" and sweet sheep.
Of course, many of us as lovers of yarn find ourselves especially drawn to sheep. But doesn't it also remind you of the logo of our friends at The Unique Sheep?
This sheep measures 1.25 inches by 1.75 inches
(Sorry, sold out)
2. Dragonfly features glowing beads and crystals on its handpainted and decorated wings, body and head. The beads and other objects have a variety of textures which add to the beauty of this pin. Its wings and tail are slightly angled giving it even more visual interest. A real mini-work of art.
From the tip of the antenna to the botton of the body it measures about 2 1/4"; the wingspan is 2 1/2" at its widest part.
3. Paisley Heart is hand painted in red, green, and aqua, with purple and gold stripes. Each piece is decorated with red beads, Swarovski crystals, and a variety of metallic found objects
This beauty measures 3 inches by 2.5 inches. It is a bit more expensive than the other two -- you will see the additional fee in the drop-down menu.
