This is a very simple bracelet.  And let me be perfectly clear, it is neither knit nor crocheted.

This was just an idea I had one day and I decided to put it together to see how it worked.  And I delighted to tell you that I am really really pleased.

When I say it is very simple it is really and truly.  It requires a length of chain that is a few inches longer than ones' wrist size, a lobster clasp attached with a jump ring, and the addition of some charms (again added with jump rings)your choice of how many, added where you choose.

My personal preference with the clasp attached to any of the links on the chain, forming a circle around the wrist with the charms dangling off the other end.  This can be seen in the second photo on this page.

Voila!

I put together a few kits, just in case others would like to make this too.

Each kit will include at least 9" of chain, a few jump rings, a lobster clasp, and at least five charms, all silver tone (they might be pewter or silver plated).

We have quite a few really great charms, some of which you can see in the photos here, varying shapes and sizes.  We have moons, hummingbirds, fish, hedgehogs, bees, leaves, turtles, cats, sunflowers, frogs, dragons (large), dragons (small), dragonflies, and maybe a few others I missed.

And! We can now offer a choice.  Make sure the drop-down menu under the top photo on this page is set as you would like it.

1. You can get a random mix of charms, chosen by me. These might include mythological creature like dragons (large and small), perhaps a moon or two, a hedgehog or maybe a cat, some leaves and/ or  hummingbirds and dragonflies.....

2. Or you can choose a springtime selection -- all charms evocative of this time of year. They may include a sun, a frog, a dragonfly, a honeybee, a hummingbird, and/or a turtle. See the top photo on this page for an idea of some that might come in your kit.

You really don't need any extra tools.  The chain is cut-able via normal household scissors.  And while a set of pliers is useful for opening and closing the jump rings, it is not vital.

If you want a pattern, I wrote it up but honestly, it is just about all that I just wrote above here.

Hope you enjoy!

P.S. I had to bring in more chain and the "new" chain will have a slightly different look.
