Gedifra has come out with some absolutely delicious Kid Suri Tinto A Mano yarn, made up of 35% Super Kid Mohair, 35% Suri Alpaca, 30% Silk.
Strikingly gorgeous variegated colorways make these very special indeed.
Each skein has 459 yards/ 50g.
Two skeins is all that is needed to knit this striking yet very simple wrap.
(This web page is set up to offer you one skein at a time so if you want to get enough for knitting the wrap described below and getting the free pattern for knitting it, please be aware of this and make sure you order two.)
We currently can offer:
1. The exact colorway shown in the photo of the shawl, this is #3501 and includes a beautiful blend of red, maroon, and pink.
2. Rich and cool, colorway #3504 gives you a mix of azure blue, royal blue, navy, a bit of teal and cream. (Sorry, out of stock)
3. A woodland mix of hues makes #3505. I see sage, olive, hunter, sky blue, capri blue and a bit of rosewood.
The Cinzia Shawl uses two balls of Kid Suri Tinto A Mano -- the original using colorway #3501. A combination of stockinette, garter and a simple lace pattern will give you a wrap that is approximately 19 1/2" (50cm) wide x 67" (170cm) long.
So if you so choose, simply put two skeins of the colorway of your choice in your shopping cart and the pattern will be included in your package for free.
Or! There are lots of gorgeous patterns out there that this yarn would look great with. If you'd like some suggestions, let me know.
