I've been organizing. Which means I am finding things that had been tucked away forever ago.
This is yarn I got many many years ago when Earth Faire was just starting out. At the time we hadn't evolved enough so that I really knew what I could use yarn-wise and when the yarn rep for J. Knits (since disbanded, alas) showed me this delicious yarn, I had to snag some.
Alas, it has sat for quite a while waiting for inspiration to strike me. Perhaps it will strike you, yes? Quantities are very limited though prices are superb. Don't wait too long....
This is called Superwash Me - DK and is a 100% superwash merino wool, hand-dyed in gorgeous colors, with 135 yards to each two ounce skein. It has a lovely hand.
Pennsylvania is a rich fiery marmelade, a true autumn hue.
San Diego has more red to it, a rusty currant, with great depth.
Iowa is a spicy gingerbread. (Sorry, sold out)
New Mexico is a variegated tonal, combining San Diego and a more amber tone as well. (Sorry, sold out)
