A most intriguing crocheted design paired with a brand-new yarn from Louisa Harding!  Big smiles here.

The pattern is called Lace Labyrinth and is by the folks that call themselves 10 Hours or Less.

You will need to get the pattern from their Ravelry web page here.

But wait!  We have set up with them a special coupon code to allow anyone who has purchased this kit to get the pattern at 20% off!  We will send it to you for your use before we ship your order.

And btw, after purchase, you will get two PDFs, one using US crochet terminology and the other one UK terms.

The Design

Here is what the designer writes:

Intrigue all your fiber friends with this cleverly classy crocheted scarf!

Worked in one piece, the intriguing design features waves of double crochet swimming on a background of hatched lace mesh. The big surprise? This seemingly random pattern is based on a deceptively simple 2-row repeat.

And with our step-by-step instructions for making any size in any weight of yarn, you can make a multitude of lace accessories…..from petite neck scarves to full-length shawls!

The Yarn and Colorways

We are offering a different yarn than the one used in the original shawl as seen on this page (and used with permission, © 10 Hours or Less).  Take a look at the beautiful pieces on the  Project Pages to get more of an idea of possibilities.

You can see our yarn in the inset photo on the top picture and again below that.

This is a new fingering weight wool blend from Louisa Harding called Luci.  Of 41% Virgin Wool, 41% Acrylic, 18% Viscose, each pre-wound ball has 349 yards/ 100g.

The yarn is plied and the colorways have lovely long color runs, not quite as long as what the original yarn gave but long enough to create great sections of color.

As the shawl as you see it here in the photos used  430 yards (393 m), we will be including two balls as each kit

If you would prefer a smaller shawlette and only want one ball, let me know and I will set you up with a special web page.

Here are the colorways we have set aside for this shawl:

1.  Aurora:  Beautifully rich colors including purple, wine, teal, green and gold.

2. Amaranthine:  A striking Autumnal mix of hues; goldenrod, red, olive, mostly with a bit of shadowy purple.
