I could not resist!
The detailed stitchwork of this cowl just really really sings to me.
Here is the Lierne Cowl by Jennifer of Lavish Craft that you can knit in a lovely yarn (details below).
Bear in mind, you must must must get the pattern via Lavish Craft's Ravelry page. This webpage is for the yarn only.
This design is for a charted pattern, worked in the round, from a provisional CO.
The shaping is accomplished by changing needle sizes.
This is tightly worked at the top to allow for a standing ‘collar’, which then grows into a wider softer flow for the lace bottom.
You should figure on swatching and on blocking to get a beautiful finished cowl.
The pattern includes tutorial images for blocking (as separate optional print out section).
The Ella Rae Lace Merino DK is a sport/DK weight 100% superwash merino with 302 yards (276m) per 100 gram skein. This gives you quite a bit of extra yardage (which is always a plus, I find).
The colorway is Honey Hive, a lovely tone-on-tone blend of varying golds.
You can see Honey Hive in the inset photo on the top picture and then again below it.
Yum! Each kit will include one skein.
