We found some very unique "sock" yarns that could be used to knit socks or mittens or what-have-you, all in a most interesting way.

The yarn is from Trendsetter and is called MEILENWEIT MERINO SOCK 50gram.  The yarn is 80% merino, 20% nylon.

It comes in sets of two mini-skeins of 50g each with about 94 yards = +/- 187 yards/ 100g.

Here is how it was described to me:

The yarn is the same beautiful base yarn from Trendsetter's regular sock collection with this change:  it has been split into 2/50gr. hanks.

Now normally when a knitter buys one 100gr. hank, they have to decide where to stop for socks  or mittens to match. This solves that.

The dye has been added in order to create long color runs and the yards match from hank to hank so each of the pair will be the same.
