A most sophisticated looking shawl by  Nim Teasdale, here is what she writes about Miramis

Miramis is an adaptable crescent shaped shawl. It’s elegant textured body of cable lines over reverse stockinette flows into the lace in a series of arches, and both the body and lace sections of the shawl can be worked to any size, making it very easy to customise size.

The adaptability of the pattern creates flexibility as to yardage, as the shawl can be worked in 400 - 1000m or more of lace to DK weight yarn, or solid, semi-solid, gradient, low-contrast variegated, or perhaps a subtle speckled yarn.

The lace stitch pattern was created by Naomi Parkhurst.

Note that the size of the shawl is adaptable, both the texture body and the lace sections can be worked to any size.
