We have set these up as Orphan Skeins.  These are defined as skeins of high-quality yarns of which we only have a few left.

And thus they are discounted at least 15% in the hope that they will find a wonderful new home.

*****

On this page, we offer three yarn options.  All three are dyed in the dip-dyed method.  They are wound differently though and so give a different look in the skein.

1.  From Ella Rae Lace Merino, this is their fingering weight yarn with 460 yards (420m) per 100g of 100% wool.   The colorway #148 does not have a name.  It is awesome: a variegated skein including black, purple and yellow gold.

Whoosh!  Blown away!   I can't tell you how many years I have been holding onto this colorway, just admiring the way the colors go together.

2.  From Mountain Colors, this is Crazy Foot, 90% superwash merino/ 10% nylon, with 425 yards per skein.  This colorway was specially developed last year to celebrate the Solar Eclipse of last year, and yes I have been looking for a great pattern for it ever since.  Variegated in dramatic hues of black and teal and turquoise and wine and dark gold.

3.  And one more Ella Rae Lace Merino, #227 named Grapes of Wrath.  This is a gorgeous variegation of blues and purples of varying tones, with some wonderful highlights of spring green.
