Only one kit left...
Mindy Ross went off into a very different direction for this new design of hers, My Pledge Of Love.
Here is what she writes:
This dreamy ‘poncho thingie’ is full of drama, pledging love with delightful results.
Two rectangular pieces; joined at the shoulders with a 3-needle bind off. A little longer in the back, giving coverage and warmth. The cables add wonderful depth and detail, including the ‘reversible cable’ near your side & arm area, for a clean and finished look, from the edging inside. The center cable travels up the turtle or mock neck, (your choice) making for a chic and detailed structure.
The “optional” heart(s) motif (pledge of love) just adds to the whimsy of this spectacular piece.
And when you throw this on? Ahhhh…the warmth and coziness just makes you realize how SO worth it is. Truly a PLEDGE OF LOVE, whether it’s for you or a loved one
This piece is both charted and written out and is recommended for either an adventurous beginner of an intermediate knitter.
The Yarn and Colorways
We are not offering the same yarn as Mindy used to knit her original piece. You can see our kits in the inset photos on the top picture and again right below that. The other photos are there to show you the design.
What Mindy recommends is a DK weight yarn, between 1650 - 1850 yards (1509 - 1692 m).
What we have for this kit is a lovely yarn from KFI's Luxury Collection, Their Adonis, a 50/50 blend of merino and silk, with 218 yards/ 100g skein.
You can choose between two colorways:
Tourmaline is a wonderful silver tone.
Amethyst is, well it is a medium amethyst.
Each kit will include 9 skeins, for a total of 1,962 yards.
Note that the kit will not automatically include the pattern. I know some knitters prefer to get it directly as a PDF file of the pattern from Mindy via her Ravelry web page. And indeed we recommend that, as this way you get any updates right away. For this, set the drop-down menu to "No Pattern Needed."
Alternatively, if you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that.
We also can email the pattern to you via email (just be aware that it is not automatic; I have to manually send it to you and generally do so right before I ship your kit).
