This is one of my personal favorites of the great patterns by Dorothy Siemens of Fiddlesticks Knitting.

It makes me smile.

The Polka-dot Stole is a lighthearted yet pretty and feminine stole. The large lace dots at the ends and in the middle panel are echoed in the smaller eyelet holes which "dot" the stole.

It is worked by knitting from one end to the other, following the charts in a logical progression. Afterward, the optional knitted balls are sewn on. Most of the stole is worked in garter stitch and it is completely reversible.

It requires approximately 736 m fingering-weight yarn (the sample was worked in a 50% wool, 30% silk, 20% nylon blend; 50 g / 160 m).

The finished size is about 72 inches long and 18 to 22 inches wide

Beautiful.

What we offer here is the PDF of the pattern, emailed to you.  It does not get sent automatically (I need to do it) so please be a bit patient and we'll get it on its way....
