Oh, this one really sings to me. I am busy going through stash to find the perfect two skeins to knit this with myself. And I just couldn't wait to offer it here -- with a marvelous bead gift possibility for you! Read on for more data....

Here is how Sivia describes this beauty:

Rainshadow - This lengthwise-worked garter stitch scarf in two colors offers a beautifully rhythmic knit. Little short-rowed color insets adorn one side of the ram’s horn shape, while stripes and eyelets wind their way up and around the long curve. Shaping is accomplished with a combination of short rows and judiciously placed decreases. Beads are placed with the crochet hook add-as-you-go method.

Enjoy!

All that is needed is two skeins (with roughly 400 yards each) in contrasting colorways to create this really striking and fun piece. Plus 390 size 6 seed beads or 4 mm magatama beads. (Sivia used 4mm Silver Lined Crystal megatamas for the one she knit that you see on this page but either will look great.)

A marvelous way to sing a song to the flowers of spring, with yarn and beads.

Note that if you would prefer that we email the pattern to you via email. So just make sure that drop-down menu is set as you would like before you check out.
