From Ellene Warren comes this most unusual design for gloves.

These are a wonderful opportunity to "play" with your knitting and make something truly unique for yourself or to give as a gift.

Here's what Ellene writes:

These whimsical knitted gloves are detailed with crocheted embellishments. Fun to make and even more fun to wear!

Well, for sure, for sure! Fun on all fronts!

The pattern uses less than 100 grams of fingering weight yarn.

You could select any fingering weight yarn and create something really special and uniquely your own.

To make these, you should figure on small amounts of various colors for the embellishments plus beads. All those leftovers are good for something, yes?

You would probably like to have on hand some gold yarn or embroidery thread, a small amount of a pink or red fingering weight yarn (fingernails, of course), contrast color fingering weight yarn for bracelet, some black embroidery thread to make the clock's hands, a fancy glass button, maybe even a large crystal teardrop shaped rhinestone (see the ring on the left hand?), some crystal or novelty beads, as well as 6/0 beads and perhaps some tiny crystal rhinestones to attach with glue.

Don't feel you have to duplicate anything exactly and don't limit yourself at all. This is a great palette for creativity!

What are we offering from this web page, you are asking?

We've set up some bead kits to help you make these gloves into something absolutely spectacular.

Each bead set will include at least (probably more):

• between 5 and 10 large (8x6 mm) tear drops and/or tear drop shaped crystals

• 5 grams of size 6/0 beads

• 20 fire polish crystal beads in varying sizes

• 5 novelty beads

Let me know if you'd like neutrals or a mix of colors.   Use the "Comments" section as you check out and I will include a riot of gorgeous beauties that will work wonderfully with your choice of color. Or if you do not specify, I will use my imagination.

About the Pattern

Note that these bead sets will not automatically include the pattern.

I know some knitters will prefer to get it directly as a PDF file of the pattern from Ellene via her Ravelry web page. In that case, choose "No Pattern Needed" on the drop-down menu under the first photo on this page.

Alternatively, if you would like a printed copy, please make sure the "Pattern" drop-down menu is set to that. We have a limited number of professional printed copies of this pattern from Ellene.
