A wonderful new beaded scarf from Catie, this one uses two things we really like. Catie designed it with beads (yum!) and with the long color repeats of Rhythm yarn from JojoLand.
The combination is lovely!
Here is how Catie describes it:
"Watch the yarn colors change before your eyes with every row!
"That's the joy of working with Rhythm yarn. Every ball has many shades that are constantly changing.
"This simple scarf pattern is worked in garter using purl stitches. Since the beads "float" on purl stitches, you can easily see where to place your beads as you go along.
"Wear this fun scarf as an accent to any top, sweater, or jacket. It's sure to get you compliments wherever you go!
Requiring only two balls of any of the JojoLand Rhythm yarns (or 220 yards of any hand-painted or variegated yarn of your choice) and 440 size 6/0 beads (figure on about 2 beads per yard of yarn). The gauge is 16 stitches to 4" in garter stitch, though as a scarf gauge is not of paramount importance.
What a pleasure! A great way to play!
