A lovely lacey concoction, by Anna Victoria, Rosarian Lace Shawl would be a perfect cover-up of summer.

It looks like a flower!  :-)

And Anna is going to run a KAL on it, to start on the 15th of June. You can join the KAL HERE.

Please get your patten directly from Anna's Ravelry page What we offer here is yarn and beads only.

The Design

Here is what she writes:

O my Luve is like a red, red rose
that’s newly sprung in June;
O my Luve is like the melody
that’s sweetly played in tune.

Please note that the pattern includes charts only, no line-by-line descriptions.

This is a top down Crescent shape shawl, designed in one size only.

The Yarn and Colorways

We do not have the same yarn or gradiently dyed colorway that Anna used.  She recommends fingering weight yarn, though she warns that the amount of yarn will depend on the yarn used and gauge and size.

The sample in the first photo used 400m, testers used between 360 and 470m.

What we found for these kits are some lovely yarns with long color runs from Debbie Bliss, called Rialto Luxury Sock.  You can see them in the inset photo on the top picture and again below that.

These are 75% wool,25% nylon, plied yarns with colors changing gradually and differently on each ply for a great look with real depth to it.

Each ball has 437 yards (400m) per 100g so one could be all you needIf you want two, just to be sure, let me know and I will set you up with another skein if we have stock.

We have three colorways you can choose from:

1. Soundwave is a song of blues and grays

2.  Montreux blends almost all the colors of the rainbow in a lovely symphony.  We took a photo including three balls so you could see the colors included in the whole.

3.  New Orleans has rich and vibrant colors beating a rhythm of rich reds and golds and purples.

The Beads

Anna Victoria mentions she used 471 beads for the version in the first photo -- that is just shy of about 40 grams of size 6/0s.  And that is what we will include in your kit -- at least that many, most likely more.

If you have a preference for color, tell me.  Otherwise I will choose for you.
