Often yarns just strike me as being perfect partners, made to go together. And yet there are times I am stumped as to what they should make together. And so I put up "Sets!" in the hope that someone will see them and think, "Oh, that is perfect for x!"
They are discounted -- the idea being to encourage you to want to give them a good home!
Here we offer a set of two lovely yarns where the colorways just happen to work beautifully together.
1. Huasco Sock is a handpainted superwash wool blend from Araucania, 75% superwash wool + 25% nylon. Each skein has 433 yards (396m)/ 100g.
This colorway is called Inti Raymi and it has wonderful stretches of colors interspersed with sports and speckles. The main color is a red-orange, deep and warm, on a cream background. There are also areas of teal and goldenrod, and some grey as well.
2. Alegria is from Manos Del Uruguay and is also a 75% merino superwash + 25% nylon. This yarn has 445 yards (405m)/ 100g.
The colorway is called Zinnia. It is a solid color (or almost solid) of that amazingly warm red-orange, not quite an exact match to the Inti Raymi but close enough to work with it.
