Only one kit in Lavanda left in stock!
This is one the Rosemary (Romi) Hill designed four years ago, and it is a real keeper.
Sierra Lupine is a pattern which allows for either a scarf (shown here as knit in fingering weight) or a shawl (which she knit in a lace weight yarn). She writes:
The lupine lace on this wrap is based on the old lily of the valley patterns, with beaded leaves growing at the ends. It makes a perfect quick and lovely scarf, or a lacy floating wrap.
On this web page we offer yarn and beads enough for the scarf version. Please note that you must get the pattern from Romi on her Ravelry page. We do not carry it here.
The Yarn and Colorways
What we put together is not the same as what Romi used in her original.
The yarn we have for our kits is from Malabrigo and is their Finito, a kettle dyed pure superfine merino wool with 200 yards / 50g skein.
So two skeins will be included in your kit, giving you the needed 400 yards of fingering weight yarn.
Lavanda is a tonal blend of varying intensities of lavender, including some tones of grey as well. A gentle look of shadows and coolness.
Jupiter is a tonal play on reds and roses, with small amounts of brown as contrast. Rich and singing of summer. (Sold out)
Aguas, again a tonal colorway, blends aquas and teals into a wonderfully cool mix. (Sorry, sold out)
Yes, this design calls for beads though they are optional.
Your kit will include at least 114 size 6/0 beads.
They might be strong contrasts (like Silver Lined Crystal) or beads that mirror one of the colors in the yarn. If you have a preference, let me know. Otherwise I will choose for you.
Reminder! You must get the pattern from Romi herself on her Ravelry page.
It is not not not not part of this kit.
