A fun cowl in a light worsted weight yarn -- fast to knit and great to wear!
Please get your pattern directly from Malabrigo on this Ravelry page. What we have put together are some yarn kits for knitting this.
A two-color welt pattern designed by Hanna Maciejewska , this cowl can be knit in either Rios or Washted, both interchangeable yarns from Malabrigo.
Our kits are in Rios, 100% superwash merino, a plied yarn with 210 yards (192m) per 100g skein.
The colors we offer are not exact matches to what Hanna used in her original. You can see our selections in the inset photos on the top picture and again below that.
Kit A mirrors the warm colors of the original:
Sunset is the same golden color that Hanna used, rich and vibrant. Two skeins per kit.
Jupiter is a dark tonal blend of rich browns and magenta. (This yarn came without a name; Jupiter is the closest I see to one of Malabrigo's standard colorways.) One skein per kit.
Kit B is for those who prefer cool colors:
Gris is a cool tonal mix of medium and light grays. Two skeins per kit.
Aniversario is a variegated blend of rich fuchsia and red, purple and violet, and a bunch of other hues in between. (Again, the yarns came without a name on the label; I believe they are Aniversario. Regardless, the colors are rich and cool and gorgeous.) One skein per kit.
